Coastal Tuscan Ti Point
This is a renovation and extension to a conventional bungalow sitting on a ridge at Ti Point. The Client is a prominent quantity surveyor who having worked on numerous projects with Ron Seeto wanted this professional relationship to extend to his retirement project.
Client requirements included a nod to the Tuscan style adapted to the exposed and windy site and a relaxed coastal lifestyle.
The main architectural elements comprise a sheltered entry porch leading to a sun drenched pebbled courtyard edged by 3 interconnected pavilions in a U shaped building layout flanked by a natural high bank along the rear side.

Introduced visual Tuscan moments include a stone faced gable marking the forecourt entry at the top of a winding drive, an oversized stone fireplace room divider in the main living pavilion set at a slight skew angle, painted timber louvred shutters, reinforced concrete lintols and window surrounds, chunky macrocarpa beams.
Solid and assured the house gazes out to sea and the surrounding countryside. A deep blue infinity edged lap pool points out to sea and the horizon.
